Charles Warren

This portrait is of my third brother, Charles Warren. He's two years older than me and was my best friend throughout our childhood. When he was 20 years old, he was involved in a horrific motorcycle accident that was due to careless behavior. Charles suffered severe brain trauma and it changed his life forever. You hear stories about near-death experiences; his has been shared for almost 45 years. Charles was a changed man after that. Through prayer, and the resilience of the brain to be retrained, he's a walking and talking miracle! Charles soaks up the Word of God like a gentle rain. Then watch out, the Word comes back out like rolling thunder across the prairie. The camouflage colors of the hat and background represent trying to hide from God. Impossible! He'll always find you.
